The Story Begins!

Champaign: Prologue

After years of endless development in nuclear fusion, in 2048 one daily session fails, creating never discovered quantum energy. Companies and corporations rush to develop the new energy but none are as progressive as Platinum Origin, who created the Leap Step Project, which could make commercial aircraft go speeds of mach 8, reaching max speed in a record of 2 minutes, and remove all G-Forces.

With scientists like Alan Bridgeworth, Ansley John and Aarav Kamath, it was considered to be the most important of all. But in 2052, before the final test in April, Dr. Ellen Chen, a scientist who was at the first site of quantum creation, begins to voice the consequences if the test were to go wrong. Platinum demotes her and ignores her statements.

Because of there choices, the test caused an explosion that sent quantum energy around the world, not only did it affect plants and nature, but humans too. People infused with the energy gained strange abilities and traits. These people were seen as a thereat to humanity. The world plunged into war with the "infected".

For seven years the world fought with the "infected", but in 2059, governments around the world declared all "infected" dead.

However this was not true, as some stayed in the shadows. Some lived normal lives, others hid their powers. Some waited to fight another day, some with peace in mind and others with hate. But it would all lead to what would become the war between Elemental and Scythe!
